2010 December Virtual Paint-Out

The last Virtual Paint-Out for 2010 was in Ireland, Clare County with beautiful green hills, county roads and cottages. A change from the white Christmas.

I did find time to do 2 small ACEO 2.5x3.5 painting for the Virtual Paint Out this month in New York, New York, one on 5 Ave. and the other on 42 Street and
8 th.    These 2 painting will be listed on ebay Tuesday Sept. 28, 2010.

Virtual Paintout July 2010



For the July Virtual Paintout the location is Hong kong, I was fascinated with the bamboo scaffolding  they think it's safe?

Virtual Paint Out June 2010

This month Virtual Paint Out was Hawaii,  for me this painting (6x8 O/P) was a study in values, I enjoyed traveling from place to place in and around the state of Hawaii.  Wish I were there.

TRAC Paint Out 2010


The annual TRAC(Toe River Arts Council) Paint Out 2010 in Burnsville, NC was held May 22 with 35 Plein Air Artist participating,painting only one day in and around Yancey County.  Prizes and awards were selected by the well known painter Peggy N. Root, First Jon Houglum,Second Linda Cheek, Thirde Mick Alonzo also congratulations to C.Webster, P.H.Taylor,S. Roper, and S. Boyle.

Well this is fun the second painting I've done for the Virtual Paint Out Blog.  This is a 8X6 inches oil on panel of the St. Nicholas Church "Roof Tops" in Prague, Czech Republic. The reference photograph was captured from google map's street view.
