Welcome to Linda Cheek's Plein-Air Art Studio. I started bulding my art studio in 1990 and it has been and still is a work in progress, to quote Grandma Cheek "by the time you've made it, you've had it." I hope this blog will be an inspiration to artists and others as well.

HOT SPRINGS NC
A resort destination since the 1800's. In 1828 the Buncombe Turnpike was completed along the French Broad River which runs through Hot Springs along with the Appalachian Trail that runs down Main Street and across the Spring Creek Bridge, more information at this link http://hotspringsnc.org/about/history/ The paintings are of Hot Springs
